Zechariah 4:14 (ERVEN) Easy to Read - English

1 Then the angel who was talking to me returned and woke me up. I was like a person waking up from sleep.
2 Then the angel asked me, "What do you see?" I said, "I see a solid gold lampstand. There are seven lamps on the lampstand, and there is a bowl on top of it. There are seven tubes coming from the bowl. One tube goes to each lamp. {The tubes bring the oil in the bowl to each of the lamps.}
3 There are two olive trees by the bowl, one on the right side and one on the left side. {These trees produce the oil for the lamps.}"
4 Then I asked the angel who was speaking with me, "Sir, what do these things mean?"
5 The angel speaking with me said, "Don't you know what these things are?" "No sir," I said.
6 He said, "This is the message from the Lord to Zerubbabel: 'Your help will not come from your own strength and power. No, your help will come from my Spirit.' This is what the Lord All-Powerful says.
7 That tall mountain will be like a flat place for Zerubbabel. He will build the Temple, and when the most important stone is put in place, the people will shout, 'Beautiful! Beautiful!'"
8 The Lord's message to me also said,
9 "Zerubbabel will lay the foundations for my Temple, and he will finish building it. Then you will know that the Lord All-Powerful sent me to you people.
10 People will not be ashamed of the small beginnings, and they will be very happy when they see Zerubbabel with the plumb line, measuring and checking the finished building. Now the seven sides of the stone you saw represent the eyes of the Lord looking in every direction. They see everything on earth."
11 Then I said to him, "I saw one olive tree on the right side of the lampstand and one on the left side. What do those two olive trees mean?"
12 I also said to him, "I saw two olive branches by the gold tubes with gold colored oil flowing from them. What do these things mean?"
13 Then the angel said to me, "Don't you know what these things mean?" I said, "No, sir."
14 So he said, "They represent the two men chosen to serve the Lord of the whole world."

2 And said H559 W-VQY3MS unto H413 PREP-1MS me , What H4100 IGAT seest H7200 VQPMS thou H859 PPRO-2MS ? And I said H559 W-VQY3MS , I have looked H7200 VQQ1MS , and behold H2009 IJEC a candlestick H4501 all H3605 of gold H2091 NMS , with a bowl H1543 upon H5921 PREP the top H7218 of it , and his seven H7651 W-MMS lamps H5216 thereon H5921 PREP , and seven H7651 NUM-MS pipes H4166 to the seven H7651 W-MMS lamps H5216 , which H834 RPRO are upon H5921 PREP the top H7218 thereof :
3 And two H8147 olive trees H2132 by H5921 PREP it , one H259 MMS upon the right H3225 side of the bowl H1543 , and the other H259 upon H5921 PREP the left H8040 side thereof .
4 So I answered H6030 and spoke H559 to H413 PREP the angel H4397 that talked H1696 with me , saying H559 L-VQFC , What H4100 IGAT are these H428 PMP , my lord H113 ?
5 Then the angel H4397 that talked H1696 with me answered H6030 W-VQY3MS and said H559 W-VQY3MS unto H413 PREP-1MS me , Knowest H3045 VQQ2MS thou not H3808 ADV what H4100 IGAT these H428 PMP be ? And I said H559 W-VQY3MS , No H3808 NADV , my lord H113 .
6 Then he answered H6030 W-VQY3MS and spoke H559 W-VQY3MS unto H413 PREP me , saying H559 W-VQY3MS , This H2088 DPRO is the word H1697 CMS of the LORD H3068 EDS unto H413 PREP Zerubbabel H2216 , saying H559 W-VQY3MS , Not H3808 NADV by might H2428 , nor H3808 W-NADV by power H3581 , but H518 PART by my spirit H7307 , saith H559 W-VQY3MS the LORD H3068 EDS of hosts H6635 .
7 Who H4310 IPRO art thou H859 PPRO-2MS , O great H1419 D-AMS mountain H2022 ? before H6440 L-CMP Zerubbabel H2216 thou shalt become a plain H4334 : and he shall bring forth the headstone H68 thereof with shoutings H8663 CFP , crying , Grace H2580 NMS , grace H2580 NMS unto it .
8 Moreover the word H1697 NMS of the LORD H3068 EDS came H1961 W-VQY3MS unto H413 PREP-1MS me , saying H559 L-VQFC ,
9 The hands H3027 CFD of Zerubbabel H2216 have laid the foundation H3245 of this H2088 D-PMS house H1004 D-NMS ; his hands H3027 W-CFD-3MS shall also finish H1214 it ; and thou shalt know H3045 W-VQY2MS that H3588 CONJ the LORD H3068 EDS of hosts H6635 hath sent H7971 me unto H413 you .
10 For H3588 CONJ who H4310 IPRO hath despised H936 the day H3117 L-NMS of small things H6996 ? for they shall rejoice H8055 , and shall see H7200 the plummet H68 in the hand H3027 B-CFS of Zerubbabel H2216 with those H428 PMP seven H7651 NUM-MS ; they H1992 PPRO-3MP are the eyes H5869 CMD of the LORD H3068 EDS , which run to and fro H7751 through the whole H3605 B-CMS earth H776 D-GFS .
11 Then answered H6030 I , and said H559 W-VQY1MS unto H413 PREP-3MS him , What H4100 IPRO are these H428 two H8147 olive trees H2132 upon H5921 PREP the right H3225 side of the candlestick H4501 and upon H5921 PREP the left H8040 side thereof ?
12 And I answered H6030 again H8145 CFS , and said H559 W-VQY1MS unto H413 PREP-3MS him , What H4100 IPRO be these two H8147 ONUM olive H2132 branches H7641 which H834 RPRO through H3027 B-CFS the two H8147 ONUM golden H2091 pipes H6804 empty H7324 the golden H2091 D-NMS oil out of themselves ?
13 And he answered H559 W-VQY3MS me and said H559 W-VQY3MS , Knowest H3045 VQQ2MS thou not H3808 ADV what H4100 IGAT these H428 PMP be ? And I said H559 W-VQY3MS , No H3808 NADV , my lord H113 .
14 Then said H559 W-VQY3MS he , These H428 PMP are the two H8147 ONUM anointed ones H1121 , that stand H5975 by H5921 PREP the Lord H113 of the whole H3605 NMS earth H776 D-GFS .
