Zechariah 5 (ERVEN) Easy to Read - English

1 I looked up again, and I saw a flying scroll.
2 The angel asked me, "What do you see?" I said, "I see a flying scroll that is 30 feet long and 15 feet wide."
3 Then the angel told me, "There is a curse written on that scroll. On one side of the scroll, there is a curse against thieves and on the other side is a curse against people who lie when they make promises.
4 The Lord All-Powerful says, 'I will send that scroll to the houses of thieves and people who lie when they use my name to make promises. That scroll will settle there and destroy even the stones and wooden posts of their houses.'"
5 The angel who was talking to me went outside and said, "Look! What do you see coming?"
6 I said, "I don't know. What is it?" He said, "That is a measuring bucket." He also said, "That bucket is for measuring the sins of the people in this country."
7 A lid made of lead was lifted off the bucket, and there was a woman in the bucket.
8 The angel said, "The woman represents evil." Then the angel pushed the woman down into the bucket and put the lead lid back on it.
9 Then I looked up and saw two women with wings like a stork. They flew out, and with the wind in their wings, they picked up the bucket. They flew through the air carrying the bucket.
10 Then I asked the angel who was speaking with me, "Where are they carrying the bucket?"
11 The angel told me, "They are going to build a house for it in Shinar. After they build that house, they will put the bucket there."
1 Then I turned H7725 , and lifted up H5375 mine eyes H5869 CMD-1MS , and looked H7200 , and behold H2009 IJEC a flying H5774 roll H4039 .
2 And he said H559 W-VQY3MS unto H413 PREP-1MS me , What H4100 IGAT seest H7200 VQPMS thou H859 PPRO-2MS ? And I answered H559 W-VQY3MS , I H589 PPRO-1MS see H7200 VQPMS a flying H5774 roll H4039 ; the length H753 thereof is twenty H6242 cubits H520 , and the breadth H7341 thereof ten H6235 MFS cubits H520 .
3 Then said H559 W-VQY3MS he unto H413 PREP-1MS me , This H2063 DPRO is the curse H423 that goeth forth H3318 over H5921 PREP the face H6440 CMP of the whole H3605 CMS earth H776 D-GFS : for H3588 CONJ every one H3605 CMS that stealeth H1589 shall be cut off H5352 as on this side H2088 M-DPRO according to it H3644 ; and every H3605 W-CMS one that sweareth H7650 shall be cut off H5352 as on that side H2088 M-DPRO according to it H3644 .
4 I will bring it forth H3318 , saith H5002 the LORD H3068 EDS of hosts H6635 , and it shall enter H935 into H413 PREP the house H1004 CMS of the thief H1590 , and into H413 PREP the house H1004 CMS of him that sweareth H7650 falsely H8267 by my name H8034 : and it shall remain H3885 in the midst H8432 B-NMS of his house H1004 NMS-3MS , and shall consume H3615 it with the timber H6086 thereof and the stones H68 thereof .
5 Then the angel H4397 that talked H1696 with me went forth H3318 W-VQY3MS , and said H559 W-VQY3MS unto H413 PREP-1MS me , Lift up H5375 VQI2MS now H4994 IJEC thine eyes H5869 CMD-2MS , and see H7200 W-VQI2MS what H4100 IGAT is this H2063 that goeth forth H3318 .
6 And I said H559 W-VQY3MS , What H4100 IPRO is it H1931 PPRO-3FS ? And he said H559 W-VQY3MS , This H2063 DPRO is an ephah H374 that goeth forth H3318 . He said H559 W-VQY3MS moreover , This H2063 DPRO is their resemblance H5869 through all H3605 B-CMS the earth H776 D-GFS .
7 And , behold H2009 IJEC , there was lifted up H5375 a talent H3603 CFS of lead H5777 : and this H2063 is a H259 OFS woman H802 NFS that sitteth H3427 in the midst H8432 B-NMS of the ephah H374 .
8 And he said H559 W-VQY3MS , This H2063 DPRO is wickedness H7564 . And he cast H7993 it into H413 PREP the midst H8432 of the ephah H374 ; and he cast H7993 the weight H68 GFS of lead H5777 upon H413 PREP the mouth H6310 CMS-3FS thereof .
9 Then lifted I up H5375 mine eyes H5869 CMD-1MS , and looked H7200 , and , behold H2009 IJEC , there came out H3318 two H8147 MFD women H802 GFP , and the wind H7307 W-GFS was in their wings H3671 ; for they H2007 had wings H3671 like the wings H3671 of a stork H2624 : and they lifted up H5375 the ephah H374 between H996 PREP the earth H776 D-GFS and the heaven H8064 D-AMD .
10 Then said H559 W-VQY1MS I to H413 PREP the angel H4397 that talked H1696 with me , Whither H575 ADV do these H1992 PPRO-3MP bear H1980 the ephah H374 ?
11 And he said H559 W-VQY3MS unto H413 PREP-1MS me , To build H1129 it a house H1004 in the land H776 B-GFS of Shinar H8152 LFS : and it shall be established H3559 , and set H5117 there H8033 upon H5921 PREP her own base H4369 .
